Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Derrick Adams is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Adams’ work celebrates and expands the dialogue around contemporary Black life and culture through scenes of normalcy and perseverance.

Nicholas Wisniewski is an artist and builder working in Baltimore. Through physical and social sculpture, he has pursued career-long questions of how we inhabit space, how we construct the city, and the political, and practical stakes of both.

Originally from Baltimore, Michael Sherman is an independent film producer of multiple award winning films and a devoted patron of the arts. He serves as Trustee at the Baltimore Museum of Art and currently resides in Los Angeles with his family. 

Mickalene Thomas was born and raised in New Jersey and lives and works in New York. One of the most influential artists today, her innovative practice has yielded instantly recognizable and widely celebrated aesthetic languages within contemporary visual culture.

Marlon Ziello is a master framer and artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He founded The Compound in 2010 - a Baltimore based nonprofit organization that serves artists and craftspeople in the greater Baltimore area, providing affordable space and supporting unconventional practices. He is a master framer and owner of Ziello Inc, a custom large scale frame shop that works closely with artists, designers, galleries and museums internationally.
