Nicholas Wisniewski
Nicholas Wisniewski is an artist and builder working in Baltimore. Through physical and social sculpture, he has pursued career-long questions of how we inhabit space, how we construct the city, and the political, and practical stakes of both.

Michael Sherman
Originally from Baltimore, Michael Sherman is an independent film producer of multiple award winning films and a devoted patron of the arts. He serves as Trustee at the Baltimore Museum of Art and currently resides in Los Angeles with his family.

Marlon Ziello
Marlon Ziello is a master framer and artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He founded The Compound in 2010 - a Baltimore based nonprofit organization that serves artists and craftspeople in the greater Baltimore area, providing affordable space and supporting unconventional practices. He is a master framer and owner of Ziello Inc, a custom large scale frame shop that works closely with artists, designers, galleries and museums internationally.
Our Experience
Over the last 10 years, our Project Team has successfully led the rehabilitation of 4 unique, community-oriented properties in Baltimore City, including the conversion of a former forklift factory into 24+ artists studios, a residential building into a 1-acre artist retreat and performance space, and a commercial building into a library and archive.
